My name is Paul Cuciureanu. I design and build high-integrity systems where humans and agents can collaborate with trust.

My journey has taken me from architecting large-scale DevOps platforms at Ubisoft, where reliability was measured across hundreds of engineers, to founding Relay, where we pioneer new patterns in open, participatory observability.

This path has been driven by a central question: How might we build systems that people believe in?

My answer lies where these three domains mix:

1. Platform Architecture: Designing for scale, reliability, and developer empathy.
2. Ethical AI: Moving beyond compliance to bake fairness and transparency into the infrastructure itself.
3. Open Science: Applying the principles of reproducibility and provenance from scientific research to software engineering.

This site is my field-lab notebook—a place to document this journey, share what I've learned, and connect with others who are building the next generation of trustworthy, collaborative systems.
